Thompson Greenspon (TGC) has been helping clients with their financial needs since 1965. As one of the largest CPA firms in the DC metro area, TGC focuses on delivering top quality, personalized financial solutions to its clients. This award-winning firm provides audit, accounting, financial reporting, tax, consulting, and advisory services to a broad range of organizations.
TGC came to us looking for a new website that showcased their strengths and moved on from the humdrum of typical CPA websites. The new site needed to increase web traffic, capture their essence and set them apart from the competition. With a variety of users on a wide range of devices, the site needed to be set up in a clear and concise way that would transfer well from computer to phone.
TGC takes a personal approach to accounting and we wanted to incorporate this into their site. They're proud of their employees and the work-life balance they offer. Plus, they've won a number of awards, including The Washington Post’s list of “Top Workplaces” five years running and the Best of Accounting Client Satisfaction Award. A new website would need to clearly to showcase all of this, while still providing easy access to core services.
By creating a clear information architecture and being strategic about how menus, calls to action and promotional sections were structured, we were able to draw attention to the things that set TGC apart. By creating a resource library with gated content that requires a user's email address before granting access, we increased user engagement and the number of online leads.
Highlights & Impact
TGC’s new site showcases the expertise they have in their field, as well as the unique aspects that propel them above the competition. Clients can now easily discover everything available to them and the helpful resources throughout the site, paired with intentional Calls-To-Action have allowed TGC to build up a network of prospective clients.
